Deputy Sheriff - Part Time
Kendall County Sheriff Al Auxier is currently accepting job applications for two Part Time Deputy Sheriff. The work schedule for these positions will fluctuate weekly, as needed. Primary duties include but not limited to: transporting and supervising inmates as directed by the jail administrator; supervise county jail inmates on work projects such as lawn maintenance, trash cleanup and other public works projects as assigned by the Sheriff.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; supplemented by one (1) to two (2) years previous experience or training that includes detention or law enforcement; knowledge of criminal laws and codes. Must possess a Peace Officer license for Texas; must possess valid Texas driver’s license.

FLEET MECHANIC II – LUB TECH
Kendall County is accepting job applications for Fleet Mechanic II – Lub Tech to work in the Road & Ridge Operations Department. This position is to ensure proper maintenance and repair of county vehicles and equipment for efficient and safe use. In addition responsibilities include maintenance and operation of the county fuel and lubrication truck while carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance including fueling and lubrication of equipment and vehicles.
Experience and Training: High school diploma or GED; supplemented by two to four years previous experience or trade school or technical training that includes equipment and vehicle maintenance and repair including fueling and lubrication.
Licenses and Certifications: Must possess valid commercial driver’s license with tanker and Hazmat endorsements. Must possess or obtain AC Recovery certification, motor vehicle inspector’s license, and ICS 100 and 700 certifications.
